Trademark Protection

Madrid Protocol Member Country Entities

As a Madrid Protocol member, the customer can file Single WIPO application covering all member countries, saving costs by avoiding separate applications.

To apply for International Protection via WIPO, it is advisable for the customer to use their USPTO application as the basis for their international application.

Thus, as explained earlier, if trademark infringement is identified anywhere in the world, their trademark rights can be enforced by obtaining suspension orders against infringing domains, social media & e-commerce platforms most of which are subject to US jurisdiction.

While using a USPTO application as a basis, Madrid Protocol Member Country customers are required to provide a US address. If they do not have one, we can provide a US address for their business for minimal fee.
